2017 Infiniti QX60 Side View

2017 Infiniti QX60 uses a 3.5-liter 24 valve V6 engine which produces 295 HP at 6,400 RPM and 270 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 RPM. The valve train of this engine consists of DOHC (double overhead camshaft) and 4 valves per cylinder.

The intake valves now have an optimized opening as CVT CS (Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System) is featured. This helps the fuel economy to stay 21 mpg in city and 27 mpg on highways.

Power is transferred by an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (CVT). Drivers also get to choose between a manual shift mode, which allows sequential selection of manual gearshifts. Most importantly, this updated engine offers 5,000 lbs. of towing capacity.

Another powertrain option is for QX60 Hybrid which is a 2.5-liter inline 4, that’s been paired with a 15 kW electric motor. This hybrid powertrain uses the same CVT to produce 250 HP. But it doesn’t produce startup torque and instead adds supplemental torque to the engine. Combined fuel economy stay at 22 to 23 mpg with either front or all-wheel drive.

The exterior styling of 2017 Infiniti QX60 says it all. Infiniti just knows how to grace their vehicles with a spark of charisma and this is reflected in the new QX60. 2017 update includes a new front and rear ends which characterize a sleek profile.
