2017 Lexus RX 350 has Improved Both on Performance and Design

This new 2017 Lexus RX 350 uses a 3.5-liter V6 engine which produces 295 HP of power and 268 lb-ft of torque at 4,700 RPM. A front-wheel drive and 8-speed automatic ECT (Electronically Controlled Transmission) comes standard. The valvetrain of this engine consists of 4 cams (4 valves per cylinder) along with dual Variable Valve Timing.

With the brawny outputs, 2017 RX 350 sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 124 mph. EPA measures at 20 mpg in city, 27 mpg on highways and 23 mpg on a combined scale. Max towing capacity checks at 3,500 lbs.

There is even an option to choose between 3 drive modes – Sport, Eco and Normal. These 3 different settings affect powertrain and steering responsiveness to bring out different flavors of performance.

Chassis and Performance

Lexus’ reputation for upscale and luxurious interior remains intact for the 2017 Lexus RX 350. The dashboard and glove box section now add premium stitching and wear soft touch materials. Another new addition also includes perforated grips in the steering wheel and gear shift knobs. This cabin’s biggest fascination would be the driver’s gauge cluster as it is fully-digital. The primary infotainment display can be popped up from the dashboard desk.
