2017 Mitsubishi ASX Exterior Styling

It’s not just the price tag that appeals the most as the styling (both exterior and interior) of 2017 Mitsubishi ASX has been revisited. The body design makes this model relevant to similar models like Toyota RAV4, Nisan Rogue, Honda CR-V and Ford Escape.

As Mitsubishi ASX didn’t get a makeover for 1 full year, the 2017 year model flaunts the company’s new design language. Unlike the previous model, this new Mitsubishi ASX drops the dull, squarish look and wears a new character line in the front wheel arches which extend all the way to meet the rear pillar.

According to the company officials, this compact SUV’s new front fascia treatment is part of their “Dynamic Shield.” The change includes a wide grille which interconnects the two headlights. LED daytime running lights in the headlight’s topmost section to go in flow with the hood’s subtle bulges which march towards the front wheel arches.

The front bumper consists of a skid plate-like design and plastic cladding on the edges. This plastic cladding continues on the rest of body sides. The rear profile is pretty much similar to the one in the last model and resembles a tall wagon stance.
