2017 Nissan Rogue Perfect Definition of the Crossover SUV Niche

Introduced in 2014, Nissan Rogue marked the company’s crossover SUV prominence. Recently, the automakers launched the 2017 Nissan Rogue as a part of this model’s annual life cycle refreshment. By the looks of several light upgrades of this 2017 Rogue combined with its price tag, it steps in direct competition with the likes of Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester and Ford Escape.

The new 2017 Nissan Rogue retains the previously used 2.5-liter DOHC 16 valve 4-cylinder engine. This powertrain’s output figures have been increased to 170 HP at 6,000 RPM and 175 lb-ft at 4,400 RPM. Power is transferred to front wheel drive via a Xtronic CVT and all-wheel drive comes as optional.
