Audi’s Q line-up is home to some of the world’s most prestigious models like Q3 and Q5. However, the German automakers have not been consistent with their line-up as a Q4 seems to be missing. But all of this is soon going to change as an all-new Q4 – 2018 Audi Q4 is reported to be in plans. For starters, this all-new Audi Q4 will be based of the TT platform which also suggests that it will share its underpinnings to a large extent with Q3. Now, recent rumors and spy shots convey that this all-new Q4 will be coming as a direct successor to the Q3.
Reports are now confirming that 2018 Q4 will make use of a 2.0L turbocharged engine which will produce outputs of 288 hp and 310 lb-ft torque. The powertrain will even integrate VVT (Variable Valve Timing) and Sequential Multiport Injection for superior fuel savings. Speaking of which, EPA ratings are supposed to check out at 23 mpg in city, 26 mpg on highways and 24 mpg on a combined scale.Similarly, 0 to 60 mph sprint might take 5.2 seconds or less and top speed might be limited to 130 mph.
Other powertrains in the option will include a 320 hp producing 3.2 L naturally aspirated V6. Transmission options could include a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed auto. There should be various selectable drive modes too.
