Some tipsters have even gone to the extent of stating that Dodge’s playbook is pretty simple. Try and muster as much power as humanely possible and give their competitors some to think about.

As per whatever was gathered from insiders, this 2018 Dodge Durango SRT will come with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine. Tipsters also revealed that this new HEMI V8 will be coupled to an 8-speed auto gearbox and will offer AWD as standard. Suspensions will get stiffer owing to its Bilstein Adaptive Damper launch controllers.
Brembo brakes could also be included to enhance that aspect too. And word on its driving modes, there is belief that it could come with 7 driving modes. Those include- Sport, Street, Track, Valet, Tow and Eco modes.
Amongst all these modes, insiders pointed out its Track mode to be its most superior one. “The track mode will help in enhancing stiffness of the suspension and its stability controlling. It will help send about 70% of power to the back wheels and help quicken shifts.”
Exterior wise, this new-gen 2018 Dodge Durango SRT will come with an aggressive styling. Fresh frontal hoods and appealing face will link this new model mirror Charger SRT Hellcat. Some eccentric wheel flares, dual exhaust tips measuring 4 inch and side skirts will also attract a lot of eyes.
Interior Design and Features
Interior wise, this new model will likely have breathable front row seats. All seats will be upholstered using suede and Nappa leather. An upgraded version of FCA’s Uconnect infotainment having 8.4 inch screen having navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and SRT performance features will be seen.
There are no official announcements regarding 2018 Dodge Durango SRT release and pricing. But going with the word of tipsters it could hit dealerships by the commencement of 2017 or 1st Q of 2018. Base price models will likely be sold at $70,000. Competition may come from big names such as Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe.
