The standard iteration of this engine will deliver 120 HP and 132 lb-ft torque for the base model. This variant will be paired with the setup of front wheel drive and 6-speed manual transmission. Improved CO2 emissions will check at 144 g/km and EPA ratings is expected to stay around 29 mpg city/33 mpg highway/37 mpg combined.
Second set of output is expected to improve as 152 HP and 161 lb-ft torque. Likewise, fuel economy will stay close to 30 mpg city/34 mpg highway/36 mpg combined.
Finally, the range-topping variant will be churning out 185 HP and 210 lb-ft torque. CO2 emissions will be kept in check at 171 g/km and mileage ratings will go as 31 mpg in city, 36 mpg on highways and 38 mpg on a combined scale. For the diesel genre, the new-gen Kuga will offer a powerful 2.0L TDCi engine for achieving best-in-class outputs of more than 187 HP and 221 lb-ft torque. This diesel burner will be paired with the selection of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Similarly, both FWD and AWD will be available in the options.
2018 Ford Kuga Styling
2018 Ford Kuga is coming up with a progressive design language to cater a clear and elegant style statement. The hood and side body will get athletic lines for adding a sporty character and a robust outer appearance.
Up top, the roof will feature aggressive-looking utility roof rails. Other optional exterior features will include auto-dimming mirrors, rear and front styling kit, aerodynamic spoiler and bumper protectors.
New machine-finished alloy wheels will come in 3 different size options; 17, 18 and 19-inches. Similarly, exterior color options will range as Blazer Blue, Ruby Red, Arctic White Metallic, Iridium Black Mica, Frost White, Race Red and several others.
The interior cabin of Ford Kuga 2018 is supposed to host changes as well. Both front and rear seats will get premium leather upholstery along with height-adjustable headrests. This cabin is also expected to offer a revised AC system.
2018 Ford Kuga is expected to come with a starting price of $26,000 and fall in a direct competition with Kia Sportage and Renault Kadjar. Dealerships will get this new-gen Kuga during the last quarters of 2017.
