2018 Infiniti QX30 to compete Mercedes with a luxury badge


Mostly known for fuel efficient cars, Nissan jumped in the race of luxury cars with its subsidiary Infiniti for quite a few years now. 2018 Infiniti QX30 is a perfect car if you are looking for a compact SUV laden with top luxury components. The Japanese automakers’ 5-door hatchback is the most similar to Mercedes-Benz GLA250.

2018 Infiniti QX30 is a class apart in design for a compact crossover SUV. It is an instant eye-catcher with sharp body angles and sweeping curves. You also cannot miss its unique C-pillar which is a reverse crescent in shape. Up front, this SUV is equally impressive with a satin chrome bumper along with the signature Infiniti badge on its attractively designed chrome grille. Drivers will have a real offroad experience with 18-inch wheels for base trim and 21-inch wheels for top end trim.

Like the classy body, 2018 Infiniti QX30 has smart designs in its interiors too. Its base model will be full with black fabric upholstery. The Sport and All Wheel Drive trims will have premium Nappa leather upholstery. Programmable Ambient lighting is also provided in the cabin.

The 2018 Infiniti QX30 will sport a robust 2 liter M270 I4 turbocharged engine capable of delivering 208 HP of power and 258 lb-ft. of torque. A unique feature of the vehicle is the 7 speed dual clutch transmission system. Infiniti promises 24 mpg of city efficiency and 33 mpg on highway.

As Infiniti is vying for market space with other luxury car players like Mercedes-Benz GLA250, Audi A3 and BMW2 Series, 2018 Infiniti QX30 will be produced in Luxury or Premium trims apart from the base, Sport and All Wheel Drive options. This new QX30 is likely to be launched in early 2018 and the base model will have a starting price of $30,000. With stunning features on board, the Sport trim will be priced at $40,000 while the higher trims should go beyond $45,000.
