Infiniti is slowly starting to revive their luxury SUV brand in the last couple of years. Since their 2017 QX franchise rolled out, Infiniti has successfully announced the release of their 2018 line-up of luxury vehicles. This new 2018 Infiniti QX50 is just an iteration of that vision from this company. Although the company had to postpone its release dates for this model, the final product has turned out to be worth the wait. The utility is going to be a major focus on these new generation vehicles. It is very likely that Infiniti QX50 2018 is going to be a major flagship vehicle for this upcoming 2018 calendar year.
As per usual, the sole reason Infiniti is looking to improve their SUV franchise is to provide a robust and performance intensive luxury SUV model. Hence, building and incorporating a powerful engine goes a long way in this field. This is the reason as to why the company has developed a core engine module to go with all 2018 Infiniti QX50 models.
Official statement from Infiniti suggests that this model will carry over its flagship powertrain. A 3.7 liter V6 cylinder setup is available for use that can generate around 325 HP of power, as well as 270 lb-ft of max torque. This unit is coupled with a 7 speed automatic transmission module, which estimates a combined EPA rating of 21 MPG.
Additional performance attributes include an all-wheel drive train configuration will become available, along with a rear wheel drive train variant. An optional 3.0 liter diesel power train may become available during later stages of production. It will have less power output as compared to its base variant.Improved brake, along with a strut suspension system has been added in its base variant.
Since 2018 Infiniti QX50 was delayed in its release for some time, it has become imperative for the company to introduce better and improved changes. A huge portion of those incoming changes will be reflected in the design configuration of this model.
As far as its external appearance of Infiniti QX50 2018 is concerned, this model offers a stunning layout. A new signature grille design has been added, along with new horizontal body lines. Better LED head lights have been added to improve its visibility. In addition to that, certain existing features have been revamped as well. These include:
- Revised front bumper design to incorporate better fog lamps on its two corners.
- A longer wheel base design has been implemented that improves this car’s overall ground clearance, with new 18-inch alloy wheels.
- Lowered roofline and a streamlined rear fascia account for better aerodynamic stability and traction control.
- Cabin space has been improved drastically, making a very spacious interior with a large cargo space.
- Dual exhaust pipes have been added to better emission standards.
