2018 Subaru Forester From Boring to Classy

Subaru Forester has been on the roads since 2014. Based on Subaru’s hatchback Impreza, the Forester is a true off road vehicle. Only turn downs of the popular Japanese made crossover is its boxy design which has remained the same for nearly 20 years now. The dull gray exterior has also become anything but catchy in recent times. The 2018 Subaru Forester is all set to change the whole outlook among Forester fans.

2018 Subaru Forester Revolution in design

Though the latest Forester will be based on Subaru’s hatchback flagship Impreza, there are a lot of changes in basic design. Following a modular global architecture, its chassis gets a reshaping with high strength steel while contributing to less overall weight. 2018 Forester redesign will look a little bigger than the current version almost like the XV Concept, only less aggressive.

In-house space of 31.5 cubic feet expands to an impressive 68.5 cubic feet on folding the back row of seats. Coupled with 8.7-inch ground clearance, Subaru’s latest compact crossover would be appealing to a range of drivers, from mountain climbers to snowboarders. 17 inch and 18-inch wheel variants are likely to be available. Moving away from its traditional dull gray shade, Subaru will offer more appealing Sepia Bronze Metallic and Dark Blue Pearl shades.

2018 Subaru Forester has driver’s comfort in mind and hence brings in softer suspension in play. Also expect to see luxurious leather seats.
The dashboard has been kept simple yet with a large center screen for quick handling. A 7-inch touchscreen incorporates the popular StarLink system of Subaru along with bundling navigation, satellite information services, weather control and music interfaces.
