Design and Construction

The new generation of models will be more advanced and more modern than the current one. The new X5 will be built on the CLAR platform. This platform offers greater spaciousness and less weight. This is achieved thanks to the use of aluminum and carbon fiber reinforced plastics. Although the 2019 BMW X5 brings more space, the dimensions of the vehicle remain the same as the current model.

The new platform brings new possibilities for changes and modifications to the looks of vehicles. Consequently, a visible redesign of the outer appearance of the new generation model is announced. Thanks to the new design, the 2019 X5 gets better aerodynamics, compared to the current model. If we add to this the reduction in the overall weight of the vehicle, it is clear that the new model will be more economical than its predecessors.
